I didn't know about the flooding issue - you are so correct to be concerned. Here's a map of where she was last seen, to where her car was found. You can see where the water normally flows in that area, flooding would be a real risk. Google Search

Red Bluff native Lauren Guillen has not been seen since she disappeared in Red Bluff on February 5, and her family is reaching out to members of the local community for additional help in the search for their loved one.

*****
It was at the Econo Lodge parking lot in Red Bluff where Hunter discovered her daughter's vehicle, which was parked next to the Sacramento River. However, Lauren was nowhere to be found.

"Her keys were left in the ignition, her phone was there the doors were unlocked," said Hunter. "I just knew something was wrong, so I called law enforcement."

*****
Action News Now spoke with the Red Bluff Police Department over the phone, and they confirmed that they do believe that Guillen is in the Sacramento River.

*****
The family says that the volunteer dive team left after not having enough support to continue.

*****
The next candlelight vigil will be taking place at the Red Bluff River Park at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Her keys & phone being left behind is very concerning! Why do the police think she went into the Sacramento river?
Why are there so many missing women like Lauren in Northern California & Southern Oregon with little to no action taken?
