Last night, in a random discussion with family members, I mentioned that I'd belonged to a forum where I was highly suspicious that a member had murdered his wife. Even after about 16 years I could remember his name and googled out of curiosity. That led me to the above posts by Coldcasegurl, posted some 13 years after the murder. Interesting that two people had obviously remembered something that, for me at least as I live on the other side of the world, I normally would have paid little attention to. Like the above poster, even his initial message that his wife was dead struck me as odd. I can't recall exactly why that and subsequent messages struck me as such strange behavior, but eventually I messaged another member as to what they thought, and they replied simply "I'm sure he killed her." And all of this was well before it was obvious he was the chief suspect. He's dead now and we'll never know. But the name of someone connected to an obscure murder in the USA would never stick in my memory for five seconds...except this one.
