Just jotting down some possibilities of young black women and teenagers on the petite side, as this UID seems to be, from NamUs. The best possibility seems to be Marie Wade IMO. I have to figure out how to log onto NamUs to see if she was ruled out because even though she's taller than the estimated range everything else seems to be possible.

Marie Wade from Los Angeles CA missing since 7/1983: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
JoAnn Mason from Highland Park MI missing since 4/1983: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Sharaun Cole from NYC missing since 2/1983 (unlikely, maybe possible if she was trafficked; just throwing it out there): The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Patricia Osborn from Seattle WA missing since 10/1983: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Kimberly Carter from Kansas City MO missing since 7/1984: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Virginia Rambus from Seattle WA missing since 5/1985: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Christine Green from Philadelphia PA missing since 4/1985: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Kelly Harris from Jackson MI missing since 8/1984 (unlikely, maybe possible if she was trafficked; just throwing it out there): The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

That being said I have noticed an uprise in the amount of UIDs that were categorized as the wrong race and/or ethnicity, especially if they were decomposed, and I'm assuming this Jane Doe was skeletal since she had been deceased for months in the LA summer heat. Just something to think about.

I notice above it says DNA is not available. If so, that is a shame. I believe she would be identified if they had her DNA. Someone missed and misses this girl.

If dentals are available shouldn't they be able to extract DNA from that?

She was found in 1985. My fear is that they didn't save anything and had her cremated. If so, DNA wouldn't be available. Nowadays I'm sure they would make sure they obtained DNA, but back then, they just often didn't. They didn't know then what we know now...

Bumping up for unidentified teenage girl. I'm not sure what we can do for her case, if anything. Any ideas?
