At approximately 0240 hrs on 08/07/2024, this dec'd was a pedestrian on the Westbound 105 Fwy east of Crenshaw Blvd in Hawthorne when he was struck by at least one vehicle. Paramedics arrived and pronounced his death at the scene. He had no ID on him and fingerprints were negative. He is not ID viewable. Descriptors: Male Black approx 18-30 yrs old with thick black, coiled hair, brown eyes, mustache and goatee, natural teeth. Height and weight are not approximated due to multiple traumatic injuries. No obvious scars or tattoos seen. Clothing: Brown T-shirt with " You are never alone est. 2018" with picture of boxing gloves on front; long black shorts or black pants with label "MST MySchoolThings.com; black tennis shoes brand "K-Swiss".

MySchoolThings.com was a company in Cerritos, CA, that made gym class uniforms, including shorts and sweatpants. It was founded in 2003 and acquired in 2014 by a similar company called Organized Sportswear. So the long shorts / pants were probably John Doe's or someone's school gym uniform.

I wonder if there was anything printed on his shorts, since usually schools would get their names / logos printed on P.E. class clothing.
