Case History:
On 5/20/1973 this skull was found in a trash can in Pasadena, CA. Further investigation revealed that this skull was originally found in 1971, possibly in the desert area abound Boron, CA in Kern County CA. The person who originally found the skull kept it in his residence. It was determined that the skull may have been in the desert for 2-3 years before being recovered, however it could have been in the desert as much as 5 to 10 years.

A couple of children so far who could fit in the age and timeline and location (meaning coming from California) Although the time of death is estimated between 1968 and 1971, de skull could have been in the dessert as much 5 to 10 years (I,m leaning more against the estimated dead range, but because there is so little to go on, expanded the search). So I looked at missing children between 1961 - 1/1/1972. The skull was found somewhere in 1971.

Mark Wilson, missing since November 4, 1967, from Quincy, Plumas County, CA, 13 at the time (more towards the estimated time of dead, in 1968 he would have been 14) Distance 8 hours apart. Dental information is available, so they could make a match with UID dentals

Lynn Luray, missing since august 17, 1964, from Los Angeles County, Long Beach, CA 15 at the time, supposed to have left with an adult man. (in 1968 she would have been 19) For her no dentals to compare with UID https://www.findthemissing.org/cases/5669 Distance app 2 hours apart

Michael Burnet, missing since March 17, 1971, from Oroville, Butte County, California, 14 at the time, (more towards the estimated time of dead) Distance app 6 hours apart. For him no dentals to compare with UID

John Butler, missing since August, 21, 1961, from New Port Beach, Orange County CA, 15 at the time. Distance apart app. 1 hour. For him no dentals to compare with UID https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/1753/0/

Others in this search would still be to young/not fit in age range. If I missed somebody please let me know.

Who comes across a human skull in the desert, doesn't report it but takes it home and keeps it awhile, and then disposes of it in the trash of all places?

Especially one described as having soft tissue remaining.

How is that possible? found in dessert kept for years at somebody's home (who would do such a thing but that beside this) ....remains could have been - before the disposal in a trashcan - in the dessert for 5, maybe 10 years - .....noooo that is not possible.....

How terribly sad. This is someone's child, grandchild, possibly missing sibling, or cousin. I'm sorry you have not been identified and laid to rest with your name, dear child.

Sad that they don't have a DNA profile - I hope this person wasn't cremated.

That is a very good question that I don't think we'll get the answers to...
