Wearing an XL jacket, but he was 5'5 and 107lbs? I wonder if he was homeless and got the jacket free at a shelter or cheap at a thrift store. He also had a black bag with clothes - wonder what those were.

The temporary tattoos don't really fit being homeless, though. Unless they were being given out for free or something.

Wouldn't taking temporary tattoos be something a young person does? I have the feeling this was somebody on the younger side of the age range. Maybe even a runaway struggling with mental or identity issues, just taking some clothes in a bag with him. Living with extended family after crossing the USA border? Somehow to me he doesn't look like a person who has been living on the streets for a long time, but of course I could be wrong. I Would love to know what was in the bag.

Yes, same here about race. They changed the Namus file to Hispanic/Latino. Searched for him yesterday under Hispanic, White and Mixed in Namus, Charley P, but I came up with nothing. Very sad.

Yim ‘Jimmy’ Yeung Tsui, MP757, went missing on August 26, 1998 from New Hyde Park, NY. He was living at home while taking summer courses at Stony Brook University where he was to be starting his junior year come Fall. He had immigrated from China with his family 10 years prior. When he went missing, his parents were away traveling in Australia. On August 28, 1998 they received a letter from the University saying that he was being expelled due to poor grades.
He had two older sisters, one living in Hawaii and another home for the summer. IMO he would have had the means to fly to California and could have been despondent over his imminent expulsion and exposure of same. So he chose a location far from home to spare his family. The temporary tattoos look to be of Asian symbolism, and maybe he applied them so he’d look ‘tough’ or older. The only HUGE difference are height and weight are very far off. The PM photo looks *similar* to Yim however, and the circumstances could indicate him being suicidal.
