I'm not sure if there would be anything left to test given the location. The actual body is long gone. I think some LA people have had STR profiles generated in modern times from blood-splattered clothing which was kept in evidence?

All the people found in Los Angeles Co. are cremated. That's still how it works now and they've been doing it for 120+ years.

Funny enough, somebody on the UID reddit (I can't remember the name) just asked a question like this (I think in connection to this specific person too) and the responses went more into depth with it all.
