Circumstances of Recovery: On the afternoon of 1/21/2024, cable workers had climbed up to work on a power pole and discovered the skeletonized decedent lying in an alleyway surrounded by brush. Preliminary anthropological examination indicates that the decedent is probably male, black or mixed, and have been dead approximately 3 to 6 months.

The decedent was found in a brush area to the rear of a residence at the 200 block of West 78th Street in Los Angeles on 1/21/2024. The decedent is completely skeletonized but is believed to be a black male, age 30-50, who is between 5'6" and 6'2" tall. They have been deceased approximately 3 to 6 months. The decedent was wearing a plaid shirt, t-shirt (size L), gray sweatpants, and brown Timberland hiking boots (size 10). They have recent healed fractures to their nose and face.

I think this is the alley way in which he was found in. This was taken a year before he died. The northern path isn't long, but it's western path is huge and I think this is the section where the man died.
