That does seem really weird. I’ve never experienced the feeling of scrolling and finding someone I think I knew, but I have heard of some UIDs my family had maybe mentioned someone similar to, but not any I knew of myself. I would never forget if I had ever seen one of my family members, acquaintances, friends, anyone I knew, on there.
There's a doe on here that's buried in the same tiny cemetery as one of my relatives, and that was jarring enough! I suppose it's better than never finding out what happened to them, though.

In my thinking just based off of the clothing, jewelry, and the fact that she was appearantly well groomed and well dressed, she probably wasn't homeless, I could be wrong though. My thought is that she was either going through a mental health break or was intoxicated possibly. There has never been anything said as to whether there was ever any evidence of substances in her system though.

Could this possibly be Kaitlyn [Q G], missing from AZ? Physical features are very similar, and even her last name could be shortened to a nickname of "Ets" or "Etts" with Taylor being a pseudonym.

Here is Kaitlyn's NamUs link: Missing Person / NamUs #MP98421

Name changed to initials by me for her privacy. This NamUs page has been taken down, but Jane Doe's page is still up, so I assume not a match.

Poor Jane Doe. I hope she is identified very soon.

Maybe going out on a limb here, but I came across Emma Franklin, A girl missing from Houston, TX, who is physically a very close match to this uid and was 16 at disappearance and would have been 17 on the date of death for the uid. Both had red/auburn hair, both hazel eyes, height for the uid is listed at 4'8" to 5'2" and the missing was 5'0". Weight listed for the missing is listed at 101lbs and the uid at 110 lbs. Namus for this uid says age 18-30, but the Los Angeles County medical examiner case says 16-28. There is a time gap of almost a year between the missing's disappearance and the uid date of death, but there is very little info publically available about the circumstances the missing went missing under. If she was a runaway or trafficked the timeline and distance could be possible. Houston is the number one area in the country for human trafficking.

@kforbes862
I think this should be investigated further. There doesn't seem to be more information about this Emma who went missing from Texas. There is no photo. So if she's still missing, her case hasn't had the attention it deserves, IMO, which would "match" up with being unidentified somewhere.

Someone should email in the possibility. I don't have time today to look into how to do this, but here is the information for Emma F.'s case, from NamUs:

Investigating Agencies, Case Owner:
Harris County Constable, Precinct 4
(281) 376-3472
Agency Case Number: 2312-02143

If anyone does contact Harris County Constable, Precinct 4, please post here. Otherwise I might try to look into it this week.

This is a link to a news story about Emma:

I can see the physical resemblance although Emma appears to have a nose piercing (not mentioned in UID listing) and very distinctive eyebrows (although that could be temporary makeup that has faded since the photo that appears in her news article).

@sunnynz I saw that when I was searching for more information, but she seems to be a different girl with the same name. She's in N.Y. and other articles say she, the girl in New York, was located.

The girl named Emma mentioned by kforbes went missing from Texas. I think it's two different girls with the same first and last names and similar stats who both went missing around the same time. (Am I wrong? I will look into it later.)

It is two different girls with the same name and similar physical stats that went missing close to the same time and happen to have the same name. One was missing New York and the other from Texas. I do believe one was found safe and the other still missing as far as I know.
