Maybe she changed her clothes in the car? If she was in a hurry or she wanted to wear clothes that her family would not approve...

There is a resemblance between Lulaida and this young woman from the Rodney Alcala photos.

I'm not sure how to account for where Lulaida may have been though or who she was with, as Alcala was in jail for the attack on Tali Shapiro, and not released until August 3, 1974. There was no lack of other predators around though, certainly. Might just be a similar ethnicity and age, but will share in case...

Interesting she went bowling with her friend still wearing her work uniform.

I wonder why she did not change? One of my kids worked there for awhile in high school too and the "smell" of the place, just permeated everything.
I thought maybe going to work, going to the party, and getting home was a tight window so just went straight from work to the bowling alley.

I was thinking her night went like this:

Early dinner with family>Work at McDonald's>Go to the party at bowling alley>Friend last sees her at 11 PM>Victim of Good Samaritan's Ruse in the timeframe afterward (ie. someone sabotaged her car then flagged her down to 'help' her and instead abducted her)>Murdered her.

[simply copying&pasting the info i have on Lulaida's exclusions from my write-up on her]

Lulaida has nine UID exclusions on NamUs, five of which were found in CA, while the other four were found in VA. None of the UIDs are estimated to be Asian or Pacific Islander. The CA Does include an unidentified Black female found in Orange County in 2005. The remaining CA Does were found in San Bernardino County, including Nipton Jane Doe 1985. The other three no longer have available NamUs pages: one of them, Rancho Cucamonga Jane Doe, has since been IDed as Karen Marie Heverly, while the other two were found in 1989 and 1999, respectively.

Lulaida is also on the NamUs exclusion list of San Fernando Jane Doe 1976, though Jane Doe is not on Lulaida's list; however they are both included as rule-outs on each other's wiki pages. They are almost definitely still exclusions, as, according to a personal email from Mary Bell of the Doe Network, "Unfortunately, listing NamUs exclusions is not a high priority. We get exclusions all the time that never show up on the NamUs exclusion list."

Furthermore, according to users on WebSleuths, Lulaida has been submitted as a potential match to LA Jane Doe July 1990, who was a 12-16 year old girl of Asian descent with possible Black admixture who is estimated to have died in 1965-1987. However, one WS user commented in June 2022 that they received an email from Doe Network stating that the match had been excluded using dental records. However, Lulaida and Jane Doe are not on each other's exclusion lists on NamUs.

If all of this is accurate, then in total Lulaida has 11 UID exclusions. Her NamUs page, #MP4577, was created on January 6, 2010 and last updated January 10, 2024.
