We also found evidence that swiss law enforcement and California police got in touch with each other when UID was found. What we don't now is what's been done concretely to find his identity or search for one.

I submitted a match for Steven Barazza. There are some similarities between them and Steven went missing only a couple of days before the body has been found. I can't find any connection to Switzerland.

Could someone registered in Namus check the exclusion list?

My modest contribution to this search. I'm Swiss and I have seen that this case was recently brought in the "24 Heures". There was someone here that was pretty active at trying to solve this mystery. She got in contact with officials but nothing conclusive. It looks like the only remaining thing of Doe is a small piece of mandibula, but it does not seem DNA extraction was ever attempted. She tried to get the investigation report but it was refused. Fingerprints do not match known entries in CH.

The problem of this case is that the original pictures just cannot be published as such, they are too gory. They did publish the front autopsy picture in the web version, I don't know if it was visible in the paper version. I decided to give it a try to bring some life to our Doe.

I am convinced the Iberic peninsula is the key to this case. He must be known by someone in Portugal but was this case ever mentioned in newspapers there?
