I live near here.
I have not seen or heard that the bald man they kidnapped has been named.
The two suspects look like they could be brothers.
There is a growing unhoused population in this area for a few blocks under the freeway to the west. They are tucked up out of the way, panhandling on strip medians on Foothill or Colorado during the day.
There are residential properties that begin to the south of the Chevron.
The part of Colorado Blvd. this occurred on, of which you might know, is much to the west of where the Rose Parade comes through.

Edited to add: There are day laborers that hang at the north west corner in the parking lot of Dunn Edwards paint store. Maybe one of them saw something?

That's what I was thinking.
Kidnapping with easy freeway access.

I agree, they look related.

They also look clean cut, and not street gang'ish- though one is wearing the long shorts favored at one time by Hispanic gangsters- both actual and those of the "imitation is the best form of flattery" school. Then again, I also have seen one or two younger middle eastern mean wearing the long short and high socks look in Orange County

Perhaps small business owners gone vigilante regarding a real or perceived persistent problem person in regards to area businesses?

I wonder where they get the stated Hispanic identity from?

I understand that Hispanic appearances can range from nearly entirely, or even entirely European to nearly entirely indigenous. In the end, however, the two men just don't look particularly Hispanic to me- though they could well be.

Going through recent immigrant populations, the men also look like they could also be Afghan, Lebanese, Armenian (big population around the Pasadena area), Albanian or say, Slavic with a Mediteranean spin such as Bulgarian, Macedonian, Montenegrin etc.
