Man arrested after calling 911 to report his girlfriend committed suicide in Corcoran
The caller, 34-year-old Luis Antonio Pulido-Esparza, said his girlfriend had shot herself and was not breathing.
When officers got there they found 32-year-old Marilu Olmedo dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Pulido-Esparza told officers he and his girlfriend had an argument the night before and woke Sunday morning to the sound of gunfire.
Officers say there were three children in the home at the time of the shooting.
Detectives served a search warrant at the residence and gathered additional evidence.
Based on that evidence and interviews and information gathered, detectives arrested Pulido-Esparza.
