I just googled Russian organized crime human trafficking America and there is fascinating info. (Not saying this is necessarily the case, just looking into it)

Not only is that possible, it is also possible that they are being sold as "wives" to foreign men. Now tell me that's not out there. BUT, that is very, very much a possibility...so much so that I spent much of Monday and Tuesday poring over those bride sites. I seriously expected to find some of our missings. Not just selling the girls for a little at a time but generating a MASSIVE amount of income for each one. Another dark, hidden facet of our country

"X" many years ago, I knew an older, very wealthy (alchoholic) man who suddenly had a beautiful wife, and two teenage step daughters. These 3 were beyond beautiful and sexy. The wife was way out of his league. He became quite unhappy because the wife ended up being quite different than he expected, not lovey dovey, and she even moved out of his house with her daughter's while remaining married to him and refusing to do any sort of formal paperwork split. He spent multiple years trying to "fix" his marriage. But, it was evident to everyone around him that it was one-sided and she was stringing him along.

As it turns out, he literally paid for her to come here from Russia. Not small money either. BIG money for a beautiful wife. For her, it was an escape. Those 3 women sucked his bank accounts dry in just 2-3 years, they were all mean to him, and the wife ended up dating a few guys from the town until she tricked another one... All while still married to the first one. He complained about it a lot and it consumed him.

Suddenly, my friend died. I never did find out what caused his death, but his now widowed Russian wife remarried within 3 weeks of my friend's death. The oldest daughter, probably 20 by that time also suddenly got married. All three women disappeared after that so I have no idea what became of them. However, I suspect they have simply each followed this same formula here in America and hopped from man to man.

I have looked everywhere for information on this girl. I have combed through her FB and through people who may know her...and nothing! In fact, the link you posted is the only article I have found.

How many believe- MG was buying drugs on the night of her disappearance and ran into foul play? Like overdosed or was murdered by a person she knew?

How many believe- MG was the victim of HT ? ( Even if it isn't a traditional trafficking ring)


I do not believe that MG RAN off voluntarily. From the first day, I have believed she was a victim of a crime. I also believe that if it wasn't for Mistivon, this case would've never made msm even once. I sincerely hope the family knows just how much work Mistivon has put into this case.

I do not believe that MG RAN off voluntarily. From the first day, I have believed she was a victim of a crime. I also believe that if it wasn't for Mistivon, this case would've never made msm even once. I sincerely hope the family knows just how much work Mistivon has put into this case.

I believe there was foul play. Her secret being she was trying to pay off a debt that her ex had on the books. She was threatened and guessing they threatened her sister as well. She made a drop that night and she was taken in retaliation of the debt. The way the dogs were tracking I believe there was more than one assailant taking her. I believe the ex knows who took her.

I believe she was buying (or possibly, selling) drugs the night she disappeared. I do believe she ran into foul play - at the hands of someone she either knew or knew of.

I DO NOT believe this was a random crime. Nor do I believe she ran off on her own.

I personally don't care that MG had a past with drugs, I just can't see her leaving her car, smokes and possessions willingly.
I do not believe that the GW visit was random though, something feels very off about the story. It was dark and rainy outside but yet they where wearing sunglasses while walking around in the GW. Instead I think that it's possible that her phone rang and she went outside to meet someone she knew and then things went south. I don't think she was just going out for a quick smoke. I have no proof of that and it's Just my opinion. I think she could've been meeting a drug connection and something went very wrong. I just don't see this being a random crime. But I could be wrong, it certainly wouldn't be the first time! Lol!!!!!!
All I know is that I'll stick it out until the end, every day I'll continue to check this thread in hopes of seeing a resolve in this case. Maricela deserves our attention, she may have made bad choices but that doesn't mean she is less worthy than anyone else.

I think Maricela saw or knew something she wasn't supposed to see or know. Her secret. I think her sister knows the secret. I went thru some of the list of missing for California. its scary how many hispanic girls within an hours drive of Reseda went missing around the same time frame. Some even on the exact day

I think that MG went to that GW purposefully. I do not believe she ever went out for a smoke break but instead to meet someone. And that meeting went south...I do not think she OD'd.

My gut says she's alive. But why & if so where is she? Who knows. Maybe she's working off a debt. Maybe she's being trafficked. Without any more information the possibilities seem endless.

While researching MG's disappearance it really has opened my eyes to all the women missing in CA, specifically SoCal. It's so frusterating because most of them are listed as missing but the trail ends there. There's no info regarding the circumstances of them being missing, no flyers, no FB page, no media and most only list a city not even a more specific area of missing. Could they be related the MG? Probably not as I think her mising is not a random act.

The one thing I can't get out of my mind is the women who claims she saw a women who was bound inside of an SUV in Slymar, CA. If what she says she saw is true...That could be anyone of those women who are missing, possibly even MG...

I agree with you, and with Code4SAR.

While it may be(in theory) possible that MG is missing because of a serial killer - I believe this to be highly unlikely. Occam's Razor tells us that the simplest answer is probably the right answer.

We know there has been a recent history (within the last year, for certain) with drug abuse.
We know there 2 other incidents of her being abducted by others who are connected to her drug abuse.
We know that there are sightings of her at the place she went missing, everyday at the same time.
We know she said she 'had a secret'.

This isn't a serial killer, or serial abductor.The most likely option is that someone connected to MG by either drugs or her lifestyle has done something with her.

Initially it was reported that MG was not familiar with the area in which he disappeared from. However, it surfaced that she actually was very familiar with it. She was treated at the methadone clinic and she would visit the church at 1pm everyday.

The sightings of her were before she went missing. Not afterwards.

I also believe she was ordered by the court to attend the methadone treatment facility and was probably ordered to go for xx amount of months and give clean urines to be let off the charges. That would explain why we see the arrests but don't see much as to sentencing. Obviously I have no proof of that but after reading up on methadone treatment, I saw that it's common for courts to refer younger offenders to them instead of hard jail time.

I still doubt that the nurse from the clinic said" I remember her, I used to treat her and rumor is she was kidnapped" because that would still be a total breach of hiipa laws. But again, plenty of facilities breach these laws daily. It makes no difference if we -they - everybody already knew she was a former patient there, they still are not allowed to say what this pi claims was said. That is just not how the law works, it makes no difference what they already knew like some had claimed here.
