If people don't see her face and know she is missing, how will we get her found? People have to know about her

I will take some flyers/posters also as I am about an hour away from Detroit which 2 weeks ago there was the HUGE car show and about 20 arrests made for HT during that weekend. The Boat show and the Golf shows are coming up and it would be nice to have her info posted around there.
My only point on above post is that if it wasn't for you, Mistivon, I would not have even heard about MG and when I saw the city and county name, I instantly thought of MG and then shared her story with co-workers as some of them do live in and around Detroit. (Not saying she is in Detroit, but it is a high-traffic, big city with a lot of events and a lot of HT/drug trafficking activity there.)

Maybe since there isn't much new news to post about on the Facebook page, maybe you can post about the new " Find Maricela Nationwide Campaign"
You could ask followers to download a PDF and hang them in their towns. Then they can post pictures of the fliers that they have hung to in the end make a photo collage of everywhere Maricelas photos are hung in America. I know if she where my child, I'd be happy to see that people all over are seeing her image and keeping her on their minds.

So great others want to hang flyers in their towns outside of California! I am just waiting on the PDF so I too can print & post them where I live (near the Northridge/Mission Hills in the San Fernando Valley). Not sure which one is now being used since we have seen a few. Is this ok with the PI/family that we do this?

I feel that her FB page definitely needs to be updated every week or few days if possible. It does not have to be with updated news but posts with stories, questions, discussion topics, video message, different pics, etc. To engage with others and to make MG more personal to those that don't know her. So that more and more people can spread the word because it touched their hearts like ours. I have seen other missing gals pages (some I follow) and they are so active you know the word is getting out tremendously. When I read MG's brother's message on Valentine's Day letting us know he was thinking of her, so many chimed in and were being affected. It's what's got to be done on her page. Or I am afraid like Rachel1 has mentioned, her case will be lost like so many because no one is talking about her even though PI, Mistivon & others are in fact trying behind the scenes.

Ok. I have mentioned this to Alan and hopefully this nationwide campaign along with a plea for any information about Maricela..not just her disappearance but her life in general..."Did you go to school with her? Hang out with her three years ago? See her in December? We want to talk to you. We are asking anyone who knows Maricela at all to come forward. We want to hear what she is like, where she goes, what she does for fun. blah blah"....Anything else I should ask for?

Anyway....about to be officially working on the Aleah Beckerle case but Mari is still my number one priority. I will definitely keep everyone updated, keep searching and be here regularly. You guys are so awesome. I am so grateful for your help.

Great news!!!! I was hoping for a good outcome for Sarah as well!!

I guess we will have to wait to hear the details later on today, since they said they will be giving that at the vigil.

We are using the reward poster and you can't really print it from a picture file. Every place I've dealt with needed it in pdf. Sorry for the hassle.

The city has not been released yet. But I did see this tidbit in recent article:

I also noticed that. It will become more interesting IMO if she was located here. Unfortunately, LAPD doesn't have arrest logs I don't think so hopefully they'll release names tonight, too.

LOL, I feel ya on the plague thing. It hangs around, too...and hangs....and hangs...
You can see inmates, but I don't think they publish like a daily log. Something where if I put in yesterday's date, it would show me everyone who had been arrested and their charges. I could very well be wrong, tho.
I'm tied up with real life work tonight but if someone could keep me posted on what we learn about Sarah if I miss it, that would be great. I realize this thread is for Mari but I am really curious about the HT/LA link.

I will check on LA County arrests now because I am curious...I am trying to get used to how the "country of CA" works even though I moved back out here a number of years ago...all of my job related stuff has been 3000 miles away (where I live during the summer) and thats where I still actually have access to info...it's very different here!

Some of the best complied missing person lists that I have come across have been those that are listed on missing children's pages. Thank goodness for those people who create these type of pages!
