Mario and Joel were last seen playing basketball at Livingston Middle School at 5:30 p.m. on March 8, 2005. Their foster parents reported their disappearance two hours later. Mario and Joel did not take any extra clothing or belongings with them when they disappeared. They do not have a history of running away.
Authorities have been unable to locate Mario and Joel's biological parents since they disappeared, and they think it is possible that Mario and Joel might be with them, although this has not been established for certain.
Joel and Mario may still be in the local area or may have traveled to Fresno, CA.
