I feel like a broken record at this point but curious if he's ever been considered as a possible Kraft victim, being the time frame, his age and the area he likely disappeared from? Also the intention of traveling home may have included hitchhiking.

I know it’s mentioned that he called his mother and said he was going to move back home. My question is does anyone know if Martin was actually living somewhere or was he homeless and that is why he called his mom to tell her he was moving back home?? Iam asking because the below UID fits Martins timeframe and location.

This is a bit far but the long hair and mustache caught my eye. Stats seem to line up. It mentions a tattoo but since he had been living away from his family who knows.

I found this guy I know his height is off but his weight seems close and the way they describe his hair. This guy was found not long after Martin disappeared. Just thought I would post.

Hi, madamex ,
I was thinking perhaps he simply preferred the name "David". Maybe he didn't like his given name.

Thanks. I overlooked the "Batholemew". My bad. That is puzzling.

  • #14
From Ancestry I found he was one of nine children of Edward and Gerrie Burleson. Edward was white and Gerrie (née Khan) was Hindi (East Indian)

The Alias is interesting, possible trouble with the law.
