I'm not sure why this is on the thread about the Taylor murder as the Newsweek article is about a completely different incident unrelated to the Brothwell/Taylor case. Am I missing something?

I realized that shortly after posting, and thought I'd deleted my reply questioning the article's relevance--sorry!

Some other sources have indicated that both parents were charged with the same crimes, and others seem to say he stabbed them and she decapitated them. I have not yet been able to find an affidavit or charging documents to verify which version of the story is correct.

I beieve she was residing in Arizona (she had to be extradited to CA). I do not believe the surviving children were still in her care (based on MSM reports and reading between the lines).
