Meale Thoeung was reported missing from the upper parking area at Heenan Lake in Alpine County, California, at around 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, according to authorities. She was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown cowboy boots and a multi-colored baseball hat that says "CALI" and has a California bear logo.

Thoeung has tattoos on her arms, collar bone, and on her calf. She is described as a Cambodian female, 5 feet, 5 inches, and 120 pounds. She has long, black, curly hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Alpine County Sheriff's Office at 530-694-2231.

Authorities in Alpine County, California are asking the public for help locating a missing woman who may have traveled to Utah.

The Alpine County Sheriff’s Office tells Fox 13 that Thoeung may have extended family in Utah and “expressed interest in trying to get there before she went missing."

Thoeung has tattoos on her arms, collarbone and her calf. She is described as a 5’5” Cambodian female with black, curly hair and brown eyes. She is about 120 pounds. Her age was not released.

Meale Thoeung was last seen walking towards the parking lot at Heenan Lake around 4pm. Her companion could not find her after that.

She may not realize there's a MP out on her. It sounds like she walked out on her "companion", which is really rude. The other possible is, of course, that her companion lied about her disappearance. Did they arrive at the lake together, in the same vehicle? If so, she either took a ride with someone else, or walked' or did not leave the park.
