I keep going back to the neighbors saying Ashlee frequently rented cars. Was she taking Melodee on these trips and where were they going? I can’t help but feel like it’s related.

And how does someone afford so many rentals

so, Brewer was given a location and name by Ashlee, who she claims has her daughter. Then he was held hostage by an irrational (his description allegedly) and he went straight to LE. So my question is, did LE find that person and what did THEY have to say about all this? Or is this another case of Zanny the nanny?

I doubt she told him the real truth. Maybe she was testing him and realised he was 'untrusworthy' in her weird mind? So she got angry and he was able to escape but never got the whole truth.

yeah, I have no idea if she told him a truth or a lie or some mixture of both. But even in giving false information, it could be helpful to LE. Think about how much evidence former convict Casey A. gave in her lies to LE. Those lies provided a lot of info about their suspect at the end of the day.

Well, NM, considering the outcome in that case, maybe don't think of former inmate Anthony.

Just a random thought, but now that we know Ashlee was considerably heavier until just a year or so ago, I think it's far more believable that the 2 people we see on google street view at the front door and walking from the garage are actually, Ashlee and Melodee in 2023.
