But even at some point with what’s reported here you stop getting approved for those. And have to pay them back.

While presumably spending hundreds plus on rental vehicles.

There has been no employment noted

Possible social security

What’s rent run in this area?

I live a couple hours South of her. You’re in section 8 waiting list forever here. Years and years.
I'm wondering if she was on the list years ago, and finally has it now? Having a daughter receiving death benefits for a deceased father might bump her up the list?

And AB might be receiving monthly SS benefits for mental health disability too?

Off-grid culty like Manson Family culty, or off-grid culty like religious extremist culty?
I'm wondering about preppers/culty extremist types.

It's so strange. I'd love to see several of her pictures lined up here for comparison purposes.
Regarding the ankle monitor - she is not going to like that at all! She seems very protective of her privacy, it's going to nut her up IMO.
I agree. It might make her super paranoid and anxious and I'm worried what she might do next. HOPEFULLY she will reach out to her secret sources and LE will be tapping the lines.

Nothing this woman does can be explained by common sense. This woman is in a lot of debt. I wonder if the disappearance of her child is a way to solve her financial problems.

Oh yeah, the GPS is driving her crazy with such paranoia.

I posted this previously, here it is again. There are many section 8 rentals available in Lompoc.

The latter. IF AB does suffer some mental health issues, an extremist or fringe culty type religious group might appeal to someone struggling with such issues. JMO.
IF she was complaining about the state/school/in-laws/CPS trying to STEAL her daughter, there may have been some extremist/preppers/anti-govt. cult or militia that offered to protect Melodee.

" Just drop her off ands make sure no one follows you"

I'm curious - if Ashlee was, herself, lured into surrendering Melodee into some weird cult / prepper situation - as a clearly mentally vulnerable adult, who would have the larger punishment? The weird cult who trafficked the child or the mom who was coerced? Not saying this is what happened.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of a case where extemist/prepper/anti-govt. cult/militia folks stepped up and volunteered to hide a kid for someone. I'm not saying it's never happened, but it doesn't seem very realistic to me.

I've seen examples of similar moves by them. But not in the way you stated it---them 'stepping up volunteering to hide a kid. '

More like them having a 'homestead', a cult like militia established. And if anyone else like minded wants to join, then come on in.

If a young girl was 'in danger' because of their enemy, the government-----then they would be open to help because it increases their numbers, and she would grow up to be one of them, and be another devotee and worker and future wife. Probably just 7 or so years from now.

If they did not do anything illegal---did not actually traffic her or harm her in any way, then they might not be penalised.

Let's say there were adults in that 'homestead' that knew Ashlee for many years. And she had been talking kind of crazy, paranoid, recently, saying her child was about to be stolen, she's being followed etc.

And what if those adult friends of hers offered to watch the child while Ashlee got her life in order? And they did do that? Had her homeschooled with the other children there. And those children were living with their parents there, being fed and clothed and educated? Even though they may be extremists in some ways, like anti-government or militia, or religious extremists etc---

If they did nothing to physically or mentally to harm or abuse her, then I'm not sure they could be charged with anything.

[We took care of a family friend's child for 6 months when one parent was hospitalised and the other had a job which took him out of the country much of the time. The parents were able to make that decision for my parents to care for their 6 yr old boy. Nothing was legally decided. ]

Also, I say this because of my experiences with a similar type of group, back when I lived in the backwoods of Northern California---Ukiah area. There were off the grid type of communes, where lots of adults took care of lots of kids, and it was not necessarily matched up, parent to child.' All the kids were grouped together and taken care of by all of the adults.

Some. of the bio-parents lived in the towns, working. And their kids were living off grid on the homestead.

It was communal living, running their backwoods homestead. And similar groups still exist but they are often political, or religious, or anti-political, or anti-religious. But they welcome new members because they need help---physical and financial.

The reason I bring this up is because these very small off grid towns she was driving through----that is where groups like this thrive.

Doesn't the government and police and FBI keep tabs on the militia, cults, anti government groups....

No, not all of them. Only the large violent militia types. There are hundreds of people living offgrid that are not being watched , and don['t need to be, imo.

Just wanted to point out that people living off grid or in a cult of whatever kind usually have people who are criminals hiding/trying to avoid detection. So while they may not technically being doing something illegal, there very well could be others in that group that don’t want to go to jail etc.

I think demonizing folks living off grid by saying they "usually" have criminals living among them, is completely unfair. Plenty of folks living this way are law abiding citizens just doing their own thing. A quick trip around YT will show you a wide range of folks doing this very thing & showing the world how they do it.

That said, we don't even know if this sort of circumstance is a fact in this case.

I’m referencing cults. Not random off grid people. Sorry for offending lol I’ve watched “love off the grid” so I know there’s some normal people too. Can’t pretend there aren’t criminals hiding in between.

Anywho!! I hadn’t seen this before. Not sure if anyone else had.

“He said when he first heard of Melodee's disappearance he reached out to Ashlee to offer help. He reportedly didn't hear back from her for about a week, but in early November Ashlee called his office. She allegedly invited him to her house and Brewer went over to talk multiple times.

He said that on Nov. 6, he was asking her about the road trip she took with Melodee and when he brought up a specific location on the route, Ashlee's demeanor reportedly changed and she asked him repeatedly, "How do you know I left her there?" Brewer told KEYT during an interview.

Interesting little trickle.

I'm trying to square the fact that he offered to help her when to all appearances she wasn't looking for help and hadn't reported being a victim of a crime. She hadn't even reported her daughter missing to police. Why would you offer help to someone who knows what happened?
