Michael Edward Roman was last seen Friday morning at Kaiser Hospital in Irvine.

Roman is 5 feet, 5 inches, 100 pounds, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes, authorities said.

He was last seen wearing an Angels T-shirt with Mike Trout’s name, black shorts, black shoes and a black Angels watch.

The missing boy is from Oceanside and has no friends or family in the area.

Surveillance video at Kaiser shows the boy leaving the hospital alone and heading toward Alton around 10:50 a.m. He does not have a cellphone or money in his possession, according to his family.

He was found safe "just after 8 a.m. Saturday, when a member of the loss prevention staff at a Target store recognized him from a social media post reporting that he was missing," a statement from Irvine police read.
