I have searched the internet for Michael twice, with no result.

Lo and behold, I have run across more info on him: Those missing from the Trinity County area

An unsuccessful search for him with cadaver dogs took place in the vicinity of Hwy 299 and Trinity Mountain Rd. His truck turned up a month after his disappearance, in a farm community near Fresno CA.

Details of Disappearance​

McDonald was last seen in Trinity County, California on October 1, 2014. He has never been heard from again. In early November, his truck was found in a farm community near Fresno, California. Few details are available in his case.

Trinity's missing

Information on the following missing persons was compiled from past Trinity Journal articles, interviews with some of the family members and information on the website of the state Department of

www.trinityjournal.com

Status: This individual disappeared from the French Gulch area, where he had been residing. The report was taken by the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office, based on McDonald’s past association to the Junction City area. A person of interest was developed; however, the individual died shortly after the investigation began. McDonald’s vehicle was later located in the Fresno area.

The case remains open, although McDonald had gone missing from an area other than Trinity County.
