I ve heard about this case for years on AMW and Unsolved Mysteries.......I know they always suspected the partner hired the killers but there was just not enough evidence............Im glad finally somethings been done!

Almost two decades after racing legend Mickey Thompson and his wife Trudy were shot outside their home, the question of who committed the crime may finally be answered.

On Monday, Thompson's estranged business partner, 61-year-old Michael Frank Goodwin, will be brought to trial on two counts of murder.

Michael Goodwin, has been sentenced to two consecutive life terms for the crime.

It says the Goodwin hired hitman because of a business deal gone bad.

From what I can see (I may not have found it if they were arrested) but the hitmen remain at large.
