Another post I read said she travel back and forth between Pacoima, so keep your eyes open peeps!

"What's concerning is that my Aunt Missy is a person who always charges her phone, she's always big about having her phone on," says Dolly Ayala, Hernandez's niece.

Hernandez's phone has been off for days, no one has been able to get in contact with her.

The sheriff's office would not reveal why they believe the disappearance of Missy Hernandez is suspicious but said anyone who knows where she was this week or where she might be now should give detectives a call.

Public Information Officer Tony Botti with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office told Dateline that the sheriff’s office received a call on December 8 from a concerned friend who stated that Missy hadn’t been seen or in contact with anyone since December 7, which they said was uncommon behavior for her.

[...]

“We have contacted several people who know her to get a better grasp on timelines,” Botti added. “We put out the press release / social media article to attract new callers. We have received some feedback and incorporated their statements into the investigation.”

Missy is a local vendor who is known for selling crystals and other products at art fairs and pop-up events around Fresno. She used to live in Los Angeles and is known to travel between the two cities. Her family, who lives in Texas, told Dateline that they are worried because Missy is a person who would never go this long without checking in with someone.

Missy Hernandez, a 30-year-old California woman known for frequenting Fresno’s pop-up art fair scene, has now been missing for three weeks.

Investigators have ruled her disappearance "suspicious" and described it as "unusual." She has a 12-year-old daughter and regularly appears in the public eye.

"Missy is a very social person who is out in the public view regularly, so for her to not be responsive or seen was considered unusual," said Tony Botti, a spokesperson for the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. "We are now three weeks removed from her being seen or spoken with."

Hernandez reportedly sells crystals and jewelry at pop-up fairs, where she has been a familiar face. According to the report, she previously lived in Los Angeles and still has ties there.

Described in the report as a “beauty queen,” Hernandez also goes by the name Missy Perez and has family in Texas. Fox News was unable to reach any of the missing woman’s relatives at the time of the most recent report, but her niece spoke to Fox 26 last week.

“We’re desperate for anything anyone can do for us,” DA, told the Fresno-based news station. “If you saw her if you remember what she was wearing or who she was with, a car that she got into just any information that anybody could give us at this point would be really, really helpful.”

Man charged with the death of Missy Hernandez, Fresno County officials say | YourCentralValley.com
[...]

On Dec. 8, investigators say a deputy arrived at Hernandez’s home and found Jimenez. The deputy identified him as a person wanted for domestic violence against Hernandez in Oct. at the same location, investigators say.

On Dec. 9, Hernandez’s friends entered her home, where investigators say they found evidence that she may be injured and in need of help. ...

A month-long investigation gave detectives an “overwhelming amount of forensic and digital evidence,” said Sheriff Margaret Mims. That evidence included DNA that indicated a violent act had occurred at Hernandez’s home, and digital evidence of where Hernandez might be, detectives said, although Hernandez was not found.

[...]

Jimenez is due in court for a continued arraignment on March 22, where the issue of bail will be revisited. Jimenez had a prior DUI charge from 2011 on his record, but Sheriff Mims said “based on the evidence at the scene, and the prior domestic violence, we know now he had the propensity for violence and the evidence at the scene shows there was a lot of violence at that home.”

Sheriff Mims said that Hernandez and Jimenez had not been in a romantic relationship very long, but that they were together at the time of the domestic violence.

A Fresno man has been charged in the murder of his missing girlfriend. Her body has still not been found - CNN
[...]

Hernandez's body has not been located, authorities said in a news conference Thursday. But Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp indicated her office is confident it can successfully prosecute the case, even without a body. It will be the first time in Fresno County a murder case is prosecuted without a body since 1974, said Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims.

[...]

She acknowledged it is "very difficult to prosecute a homicide case ... without an actual dead body to show evidence of at a trial." But given the work of investigators, "we are confident that we will be able to successfully prosecute this case and prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that this person very violently murdered Missy Hernandez."

‘We found a lot of blood at the scene’: Fresno Sheriff arrest boyfriend for murder of missing mom | YourCentralValley.com
“We found evidence of a lot of blood at the scene,” the Sheriff said.

What they haven’t found is her body, bringing a unique challenge to the case. The last time the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office prosecuted a murder trial without a body was in 1974.

The Sheriff said digital evidence showed possible locations where the victim might be, including undisclosed places outside Fresno County.

“Just this morning we got an additional location, so we’re gonna continue to search,” said Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp.

Authorities are expected to release new developments on their investigation into the murder of Missy Hernandez.

Sheriff's officials say detectives found "forensic and digital evidence" indicating some sort of violent attack had occurred at Missy's house.

Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims, Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp and the director of the Marjaree Mason Center, Nicole Linder, will speak during a news conference at 11 am on Tuesday.
New developments in Missy Hernandez murder case to be released

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Dive Team recovered the body of Hernandez from the bottom of the California Aqueduct on Sunday, deputies said. She had been missing for 40 days. Deputies say the suspicious circumstances around and the length of Hernandez’s disappearance had led to the presumption of her death.

The Fresno County search and rescue team, assisted by the Kern County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team, searched the Grapevine portion of California’s Interstate 5 near Lebec and Frazier Park with no success. Two other ground crews searched along Highway 198 in western Fresno County, also finding nothing.
