Found Safe CA - Nathaniel 'Nate' Lasater, 12, North Highlands, 14 May 2017

Nathaniel “Nate” Lasater was last seen leaving from his home in the 5800 block of San Marcos Way on his black Roadmaster mountain bike around 10 a.m.,

Lasater has been known to hitchhike, has boarded a freight train and has been located as far away as Modesto. He has no fear of strangers and will ask them for money or a ride.

Lasater is described as 5 feet tall, 100 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. He was wearing a red shirt and black basketball shorts.

Lasater has high-functioning autism and needs medication for his condition.

It must be more than those two times, because the first report is a duplicate of this current one.

Lasater has been known to hitchhike, has boarded a freight train and has been located as far away as Modesto.

When did those happen? If they know he runs away, why haven't measures been taken to keep him from doing that?

If he's a runner, it possible that the parents did. It officially report him missing previous to March. I haven't found any earlier reports than March, but the articles indicate that he has gone missing previous to then.
