I was looking at the missing FB page for him again (https://www.facebook.com/MissingNealKing) and noticed that a couple of days ago they said that his last known location was believed to be the "Berry Creek or Feather Falls area of California" and not the residence where the business meeting took place.

Not sure what to make of that. Below is a link to a google map with those areas marked as well as the business meeting place and the general location of where the body was found.

IMO it doesn't seen likely. Hamilton City is coming all the way down from a rural area through oroville through the main highway and then through Chico. Although it looks close on the map, driving it isn't quickly manueverable.

The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office has identified the body found Friday in Stony Creek near Hamilton City as 37-year-old Michael Castillo Perea of Willows.

I had no idea there was so much shenanigans going on in this area. Going to take my .38 next time I go fishing!

Oh, yeah, that area up there has always been "iffy." High unemployment, poverty, crime, a lot of uninhabited land, among other things. I am sure there are some very nice areas, too, but as a Northern California native, those counties (Butte, Plumas,Yuba and others) have historically had their share of problems.

OROVILLE -- The search for Neal Forrest King, missing since March 26, has led to the arrest of an Oroville man who may have information about King's last known whereabouts.
