Unidentified White Female
Discovered on July 8, 1984, six miles north of Nevada City along Hwy 49, just south of the Independence Trail Head. She was estimated to have died 2-3 weeks prior.
Vital Statistics
* Estimated age: 18 to 30 years old.
* Approximate Height: about 5 feet, 5 inches tall
* Weight: "Slim Build"
* Hair: Shoulder-length blond hair.
* Eye Color: Not Specified.
* Clothing/Jewelry: was wearing several layers of clothing, and a yellow gold ring with a green stone
* Other Info: Sheriff's officials said the woman was believed to have been a transient and may have come from outside the area. She may have attended a rock concert in the area a couple of weeks before her body was discovered.
Circumstances
The manner and cause of death was listed as homicide by strangulation.
