In 1967, Teaford was accused of murdering his own grandmother, wounding his sister and shooting at a Madera County Deputy Sheriff during his escape. Madera County had a warrant for his arrest but it has since been recalled. The victim in the Oakland murder case has never been identified.

The Oakland Police Department is currently seeking Taylor Morris Teaford on a warrant charging him with the alleged 1969 murder of a woman at the St. Louis Hotel in Oakland. Detectives report that Teaford allegedly entered the hotel which was located at the current site of the North Alameda County Jail. While in room #15, he allegedly beat her beyond recognition and then strangled her to death with an article of her own clothing.

Hopefully he was abused by family as a child. Otherwise, I can see NO REASON WHATSOEVER for killing his own grandmother. No disrespect for the Jane Doe at hand, as she surely didn't deserve what he did to her. But his own grandma???

Can they exhume the Jane Doe's body to get a DNA sample or was she cremated?

Teaford would be 80 now. Considering what is known of his lifestyle, I doubt very much he is still among the living. He might be lost somewhere in the long list of "John Does" on one of the data bases.

I think there is a decent likelihood that this UID was a prostitute in life, and Teaford was either a John or a pimp. She was probably never reported missing, sadly, or was one whose report was dismissed as a runaway.

I think there is lesser likelihood that he abducted her and took her to a motel to kill her. Still possible, but it seems that there would be many more chances to get caught putting an abductee in a hotel room.

I wish there were more details about this case.

Often times a warrant is recalled in cases such as rape, assault etc. due to victim being unavailable or refusing to assist. I see it all the time. If they cannot make contact with victim with a reasonably short time, warrants are usually refused. I've seen them refused in a little over twenty four hours due to no contact with a victim. One of the most disturbing cases I had to deal with was a guy that preyed on homeless men, he would offer them shelter and take them back to his place and rape them. Since LE could never locate his victims (homeless people often lead very transiet lifestyles) warrants were always refused.

How low can you go? Sad face over here....

My first instinct when seeing the PM picture was that she looks under 16. But I doubt they would get the estimate that wrong. Still, I do think she's on the younger end of the age estimate.

I was looking at the drawings of this jane doe.. they look so very different to me.. the newer one (w the short strait Jennifer Aniston Courtney Cox Friends Hair) almost looks like she has a clef chin does anyone else see that? Has it been mentioned anywhere of a clef chin? The pencil drawing I am feeling is probably more of what the UID looked like in 1969..
I was also reading she had different changes of clothing with her. Does not mention Bag or suitcase or anything else. I wonder if he was traveling with her and picked her up from someplace else..and she was a runaway from out of state?

I came across this woman Emily Roberta Richards..
and I thought her features the way her eyebrows are formed the bridge of her nose her lips have a downward slope and even her ear looks similar.. she went missing in 1964 but was heard from in 1966 in California. Her stats are really close also..
