that isnot what police chief stated in interview linked by @Seattle couple of posts up.. was 5 something pm, same interview stated police got there in 6minutes.

Chief Walker: following up on every single lead. Call came in at 7:48pm. Search began immediately.escalated search for Kern SAR and CHP helicopter. Most recent. Showing great photo of backyard I’ve not seen. Inside out search. Searched for neighbors cam. Next day, more resources called in. Chief says he could ramble all day about it cause he’s living it and can’t sleep.they are OUR kids and are emotional about it. No specialists in Cal City PD. We do it all. Break.

AP are not suspects at this time. It’s easy to go out and look for wood. Neighborhood exhausted for info. Kids disappeared. Somebody somehow assisted those kids out of that house. Foul play. Sex offenders all checked with neg results. Inside out! The parents that reported it. This is second time he’s stressed that. Bio vs AP - he tries to stay out of that. Goal-Find the children. Kelly says most of the time black children missing don’t get the kind of response cal city is providing. Praising Chief for efforts. Break.

Thanks @imstilla.grandma, I’m unable to watch so I really appreciate the updates. Iirc, in Bayan’s interview w/ the Chief last Friday-1/22/21, Chief confirmed the 911 call came in to their Communications Center @ 5:43pm, and Officer’s arrived to AP’s address in 6 minutes, @5:49pm. He might have just misspoke due to being over-tired since he’s been getting no sleep. Maybe?
Just a guess.

AP dad says Call the cops, call the cal city. Cal them. They are. Going to be rambunctious. I would really like to go into peoples houses to make sure.

We don't know when but we know where and by whom. Sort of. This is as close as we have gotten:

Missing children, especially black children may not be given attention needed. Guest (CEO of Black and missing) on. Kelly: Many people in LE deem children as runaways. Guest: left unattended to play without supervision. Mom allegedly wrapping gifts. 2 young children left playing outside. Look closely at new surveillance. Kelly: adoption issue with bio mom. Guest: doesn’t understand bio mom backstory. She is part of search but blaming AP. Kelly: 64,000 missing black girls and women. Guest: 40% of missing children are children of color. Boys didn’t get Amber alert. Missing children isn’t black or white issue. It’s an American issue. Break.

we have no idea how long those children are actually missing, do we?
We know they had been seen by someone local according to long version of chief's interview ... so they did actually move to that house and they lived in it for a period unknown.
Needle in a haystack.
They could have been moved anytime depending upon when exactly they were last seen and we have no idea when that was..

When the police chief said some people close to the family had been asked to take a polygraph --he didn't specify whom it was.
As far as people outside the family, I don't think it was said if the boys attended daycare or a Head start program ?
My guess as of now -- is that LE have a rough timeline.
And it sounds like they have info. that they're holding back which is good news as progress is hopefully being made !!

Why would you go back inside the house after realizing you left the gate open OUTSIDE? Surely the first place you go and look is outside of the gate, if they are in the house they will be fine.

Especially after he also said that he went INSIDE THE HOUSE, came back out and they weren't there !!!
So if you are already INSIDE the house, come back outside, boys aren't there, back gate left open...just why, oh why, would you go BACK inside the house to look for them when you just came out of the house ??????

IIRC the chief said it was the Grandmother and he didn't want to say when she saw them because it would cause speculation.
