I hope DNA is given. Sometimes there is mistrust.
It says the father gave dna. Even if the father would not, there are other bio relatives involved in finding these boys.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – As the biological family of brothers Orson and Orrin West mark a year since their sons’ disappearance, frustration and worn patience are fueling action by the Pettus family.
“Somebody knows what’s going on,” said Charles Pettus, the biological father of the boys. “If you did something, let people know because you’re hurting people’s kids. You’re taking family away from family, these were babies.”
Attorneys Antonio Castillo and Darren Richie are part of a Beverly Hills law firm representing the Pettus family in a suit against Kern County.
Kern Child Protective Services took the boys from their biological parents and placed them with Jacqueline and Trezell West.
That suit alleges the county was negligent to take the boys from their birth parents — Pettus and his mother, Brenda — and place them in the custody of the West family, which adopted the boys and had custody when they disappeared.

It took eight months to get the results from Quantico in Lindsey Baum's case. Sometimes it takes longer than we would like to identify remains and determine a cause of death.Wait a minute!! Remains were found near California City in early November? Wouldn't BPD know by now if the remains were one of the boys? Is this a red herring as part of the law suit? I'm confused.
Is the attorney just using the dna ask to inflate the lawsuit? CP is not the Father of both boys. But the attorney glossed over that in the video interview?
IMO the reason it took 8 months to get the results in Lindsey's case- no one suspected the fragments found were her. It took everyone by surprise when the results came back. That's very different than what we are looking at here. I feel results in this scenario will be fast tracked. MOO.It took eight months to get the results from Quantico in Lindsey Baum's case. the adoptive parents are out of view making no statementSo here we are a year later and two little boys missing...and where are the adoptive parents? I haven't been following closely for the past few months. Have they been on T.V. making pleas, in the police station constantly working on leads? What about organized searches to keep searching for clues?
Or, are they hunkered down and silent?
How are they supporting themselves, are they working? Do they still have that house in Cal. City?
So many questions. Thanks to any of you who might be more up to speed than I am. I can't help ask...are they dead, sold, given away? Why were they adopted in the first place? What was the reason?
Everyone is innocent unless proven otherwise. I'm just asking questions.
Amateur opinion and speculation
One year and crickets…the adoptive parents are out of view making no statementapparently their kids bio and adopted remain in CPS custody as well. they have not been named POI.
Happy Holidays to you too!!One year and crickets…
They hadn’t even made a pretense of caring about the children they adopted. IMO they probably figure they lost the other children they adopted so why bother? They don’t need to impress CPS to keep the money train going any more.
Happy Holidays to all here! It’s heartbreaking to know that Orson and Orrin won’t be celebrating.
Yes, I agree it’s hard not to speculate that these boys were procured with a special purpose, transaction in mind. God in heaven I pray I’m wrong.I have a horrible feeling this was always the way it was planned to go with these two boys. They were never staying long-term and that’s why there’s no pics (they wouldn’t want them being too easily recognised) and probably also why LE seem to be finding it hard to trace witnesses and background info. I think considerable effort went into isolating themselves so that it was never completely clear how many kids they had and nobody really got to know them or learn much about their lives.
I think there’s a chance they may well be alive though, and wherever they are I hope to god they’re living happy little lives. And yes I realise I’m grasping at straws there but it’s easier to settle with that than any of the alternatives.
