I’m not saying there’s not a lot of suspicious things going on, I just think we need to be careful when painting broad generalizations on how people “should” act.

Yes, I have no problem with that.

Waiting for news or an update is hard in this case, as it involves basically very young, helpless children.
If they were maybe 12-13, one might hope they'd 'run away' and were hiding out with a friend ?
Even then any responsible adult upon finding out-- would call the parents or police, to let them know!
So, yeah --this is heartbreaking.
Hoping for good news but it's looking grim.
Imo.

I agree. I believe the dad deliberately said how they’ve been staying inside all the time bc of COVID to stay ahead of questions about nobody seeing them. He’s only spoke publicly for about ten minutes and made a point to say how they’ve been strict about stay at home order. I’d be interested to see if LE has video showing then going in/out of town often.
I didn’t see the van. Does it have windows? Would video from local businesses be able to see if passengers were in the back anytime both the mom and dad were out and about.

That is one the top things LEO check when there is a missing child.
The other children were removed from the home, and LE served a search warrant with guns drawn. So I don't think any of the usual creepers have anything to do with it. MOO

Also, that gas station attendant showed more concern than some -- that I've noticed so far !
She was speaking so quickly and you could tell she cared about these boys, that she's maybe not even met if they didn't make it to this address.

Sounds more like vandalism to me. I don't know how they think trespassing on private property and breaking windows is going to help investigators find the boys.
