but... older brother Orrin has a fractured leg.

I beleive that it's more a scar that the poster is referring to, rather than a current injury, but that's just my guess otherwise I'd have thought it would have been mentioned by the adoptive parents and moreso the birth mother. Bigger question is how does a 3/4 year old fracture their leg? Their bones are so pliable at that age unless there is heavy trauma....................

Initials are commonly used for any persons involved in a case.

No chalk marks in the yard?, my kids get that stuff everywhere in minutes!.
Have we heard any neighbours give interviews to msm yet?,any one in the vicinity who remembers seeing the boys recently if at all?.
The no recent photos is a bad sign IMO, if they are on JW phone as she suggests why would LE not use them?,makes no sense.

Toddlers and small people who are daredevils and little risk takers, get hurt on a regular basis. Source: experience with raising 8 kids, 5 of which were reckless little people that got hurt a lot, and to this day, are still into risky sports & adrenaline rushes & have adventurous stories to brag about. Pliable or not, little kids can easily fracture a bone if they whack it in just the wrong way & with enough force.

I recall a couple of locals/neighbors giving a few comments. One was complaining the parents didn't come outside to say "boo" or whatever when some of the neighbors were out searching.
I haven't seen anything yet that suggests the neighbors regularly see or even know the kids.

My 2 year old fractured his collar bone falling over his small trike - very easy done.

My thoughts exactly. Was such a throw away comment aswell ‘oh they’re on the phone’. I would be saying ask LE why they didn’t use the most recent photos I gave. That wasn’t AM’s response though.

Don't think wood in the traditional sense - we're not talking a cord of oak firewood that he's throwing over the fence. More like sticks and tree branches.

The only trees I see there are the ones along the street. I would not expect to find much of firewood there, in traditional meaning or not.

After watching the shorter of the interview videos I was more suspicious of the adoptive parents. Once I saw the interview in its entirety I'm leaning more towards believing them. Just my two cents, but I'm leaning towards the adoptive parents knowing, or having a good idea, who it was who took them. I think that's why it turned to searching the property and phones etc so quickly. I think the adoptive parents and LE are looking towards certain leads and that's partly why they're instructing the parents to remain inside and why LE is remaining so quiet. I think they have a good idea of who would've taken them.

EDIT: Do we know if there was a search warrent for the search of the backyard and electronics? Or if they were voluntarily given to LE? I'm not too familiar with the process but it seemed like it went from missing to searching/seizing phones too quickly for a warrant. This is partially why I'm leaning towards above scenario.

I always think the bedate on whether or not there was firewood nearby is useless. Don't see any reason the dad would say that if he were making it up. Doesn't add to his story or "benefit" him.

To play devils advocate, I’m trying to say this as facts only and not as an accusation. It’s possible that bio mom didn’t have good prenatal care, nutrition or health. Lots of things during a pregnancy can affect a child long after birth including drugs taken by mother (both prescribed and not), other substances ingested, lack of vitamins or minerals, even routine illness of the mother, etc. He also may not have had the best nutrition before, during or after his time in the foster system. Then it’s also possible he was in a car accident or broke it another unpreventable way. We don’t know if it was a serious compound femur break or a hairline fracture of the fibia. Both could be called a broken leg but they’re very different situations. My fear is that the broken bone could be used as a method of identification. The missing poster also mentioned no dental records available.

I had to read your post a couple of times to "get" who AM is (adopted Mom). IMO it's going to be a lot cleaner to use the initials JW- when referring to the adoptive Mom whose name is Jacqueline West. MOO~

Agree, but throwing out some food for thought. I beleive the birth mother said the boys didn't like them or weren't comfortable with them.....something to that degree, and she also was interviewed saying she thinks the adoptive parents did something. There has to be reason for those statements.....could be anything, but then you throw out there that the 4 year old had a fractured leg at some point.....starts to look bad.

Yes, please only use INITIALS for all the adults mentioned in this case. TW, JW, RD, etc.
