The way he described his actions "I open up the back gate, I'm throwing wood, bringing it inside the house." is very... awkward? Sounds like someone telling the less-important set up for a larger story that is being led into and is known, not the way you would describe the very important and theoretically only known detailed events leading up to the disappearance of your children. IMO, it's a weird way to talk about your kids. Was there any discussion about anything else the boys did that day or previous days? MOO
No, I don’t remember any. Neither adoptive parent called out for their children, who could be cold, hungry, afraid and in danger. The boys names weren’t used. The mother said she believes the boys were kidnapped. Yet she didn’t make an appeal for her children when she had the opportunity. Something isn’t right here. I do have faith in the agencies involved. Results of evidence analysis should be forthcoming. While I don’t think LE will reveal all results; I believe we’ll see some readers fall off the fence, one way or the other with the next press conference. Has it been made clear whether the parents are detained?

This story makes even less sense as time goes by.

Some interesting things, to me anyway that the ccpd that is leading the investigation has asked for the help of Bakersfield PD as that is where the adoptive family is from.
The KCSD
headquartered at 1350 Norris Road in Bakersfield.
There is also a
California FBI Office in Bakersfield, California. https://www.countyoffice.org/bakersfield-california-fbi-office-bakersfield-ca-faa/
Three agencies located in Bakersfield that have been asked to help

California City Police Jon Walker stated he supsects foul Play. LEO Doesn't make heavy statements like that for the fun of it. MOO

And he made that statement rather quickly, didn’t he? Did he say that in the first press conference? My memory fails me. Geez, I can’t keep my mind off Gannon when the DA appeared at the Stauch home. I think I need a break. I always get a bit anxious when there’s nothing new on these cases. I’m certain the behind the scenes with the ‘powers that be’ are making progress. It’s a waiting game for us...

I know, right? It's so sad, not one relative - bio or adoptive - has expressed any concern for the well being of the boys. At least not publicly.

And with Chief Walker's comments that LE believes there has been foul play and how LE is investigating "from the inside out" looming heavily over the case it doesn't look good for these little guys.

I feel like they never had a chance. MOO. :(

Has the 911 call been released? I have a feeling it is filled with extensive explanations like in the interview.JMO.

When my mom was murdered by someone close to our family we were forbidden to speak to the press. We talked with LE every day but we couldn't say anything to the press. Now because the trial hasn't happened yet we still can't say anything even though we know who murdered her. She's in prison but we can't say why or how she's connected to our family to even our closest friends until the trial is over and the sentencing is complete. It could jeopardize the outcome of the trial, worse it could lead to a mistrial. So maybe they have been talking with the family but everyone is being forced to be silent. Considering they haven't searched the surrounding areas or the houses or anywhere but inside the home, someone knows something we don't.

There's an aunt yelling at them that they were supposed to take care of her nephews. At the presser TW, and JW did. TW even used that as an excuse for why they are not involved with the public. As if it's all the bio families fault..MOO

I'm so sorry you lost your mom and in such a horrific way! Hugs.

I was mainly talking about the lack of concern about the boys being cold, scared, hungry, etc. in interviews with the bio mom and both adoptive parents. None of them talked about how the boys could be feeling but rather how their disappearance was affecting them. None of them referred to the boys by name. Bio mom focused on telling people she's a good mother and accusing the adoptive parents of harming the boys. The adoptive parents focused on explaining what happened but gave no helpful information, like what they were wearing, did they have nick names, etc.

I do understand your point though. IMO even if LE asked them to stay silent they did choose to speak in public and many of us expected to hear how worried they were about the boys and not just about their own feelings. MOO.

I doubt the bio family has anything to do with the boys being missing and many of us have very strong suspicions already, but going to the adoptive parents home and screaming at them is not at all helpful. LE have this, and they have it in spades. No need to put your two cents in. And with regard to those vandalizing the home, shame on you, that’s a crime too. JMHO.

Agreed !!
(Forgot to post that before !)

I think it sounded very 'rehearsed'.
Almost like, "Ok, you say this, ______."
Imo.

This picture was provided to 23ABC, by a neighbor of the adoptive parents. Neighbors say the backyard was the main point of the investigation tonight.
Crime tape surrounds home of adoptive parents of missing boys

I missed seeing this photo dated the 23rd. I see there is a garage.
Was the crime scene tape as of today ?
That's new.

It would appear that the search is for evidence -- although I'm not sure if it's for the children themselves, as wouldn't they already have located their remains ? :(
Sorry but I'm so angry right now !:mad::mad:
Who harmed Orrin and Orson ?
MOO

Not yet, I don't think so.

Somehow I doubt it will be released now -- as it's probably part of the investigation.

Thank you, it was the worst thing we've ever experienced, but you are right I'd be a complete mess if my children were missing, I'm sure I couldn't even talk. I thought the question was referring to why other family members had not come forward. :) like the Grandma who has the other four kids. But yes, this all seems very strange.
