I’m really sorry but I don’t think my post came across as I had intended. I meant no disrespect to your post, at all. I guess I worded it badly? I didn’t mean you putting in your “two cents”, I meant the aunt. Yes, she is concerned, but these matters are best left for LE. The yelling at the adoptive parents just seemed “over-the-top” to me and unnecessary. JMHO
Thank you for clarifying. Haha I should have known it's not like you to be snarky. Shame on me now. ;)

I am trying to get caught up in here now that the holidays are over and am confused on this post.
So, APs moved to new house, with other kids also, in Sept ??
None of the neighbors remember seeing the 2 boys since they moved in ??
So, are we thinking the boys have been gone since at least Sept??
How could 2 boys vanish and nobody notices for 2 or more months??
Does the agency who places foster/adopted children not follow up monthly or every few months ?? Of course, a phone call to AP would not prove if boys were there or not.
Even if the boys did make the move to the new house, neighbors have not seen them but there is what appears to be a high privacy fence in the back yard
UGH--- sure wish the 2 precious boys will be found soon !!!

APs moved to new house, no idea if all their children moved in or not.
I'm not sure it's confirmed that anyone saw any children? Not just O and O.
LE said they found DNA within the house but not leaving. Could that just mean they had their toothbrushes?
The post you quoted from me was in response to the police gathering items from the home instead of checking into the desert. My assumption is they were looking for evidence of the boys ever even living there, as no one else can vouch for that fact.

It sounds like she did have lots of support. Where were they when she was losing the children...?

My guess is there was a fight for these kids prior to adoption MOO.

I hope LE has been able to obtain DNA for all the children to determine if they have independent DNA for 6, not just 4. Just because LE was given an item for DNA and scent, doesn't mean the DNA and scent OR THE ITEM belong to either boy!

If LE was digging up concrete, they weren't looking for little boys who went missing yesterday.

If neighbors have seen NO children there, who would know that 2 were missing? Not even the other children would know.

Did I read that the boys were on video going into the house but not leaving? If that is true then they were there in Sept when they moved in. IMO

If someone took these kids, it would have been caught on camera. The children don't show up on camera leaving, not alone, not taken away by someone.
Yes. I'm not so sure if they *ever* lived at that home. Sure, the dogs might be picking up there scent on possessions they previously interacted with, but it's very concerning that no one has seen those children in the last three months. That almost seems impossible given the "rambunctious" nature of children.
Further, this seems like a pretty involved citizenry. Did these parents get to the "howdy neighbor" level with those around them, or did they keep to themselves? While the pandemic has separated people to at least six feet, I know in my neighborhood we appreciate our six feet apart "howdy neighbor" chats even more than before. Further, neighbors with kids typically seek out new neighbors because they know at some point their kids are likely to be playing together. I wonder if any of that transpired here?

Question- why am I remembering 8pm for cop call? I thought that was reported early on and then someone here later posted some kind of call transcript that showed 8pm? So sorry if we already cleared this up and I missed it.

I think the firewood was integral to TW story for answering when/why/how because he anticipated lots of questions from LE and community.
Everyone knows how sketchy the “I woke up and they were gone, abduction!!” Sounds to LE. Leaving them in the unfenced front yard would have sounded neglectful and they likely thought of neighbor camera placement. He needed a reason for the back gate to be open without sounding neglectful.
With that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was on camera collecting wood, as they rehearsed they likely knew they’d need some evidence to corroborate their story. I’d be interested though to see if he quick collected some wood during a completely different timeframe. Moo

I've been reading back from the first page of this thread, and I think that the 911 call (which afaik has not been released due to an active investigation) came in around 8pm; but the adoptive parents say the boys went missing around 5-5:30 pm while the dad was getting firewood ?
Bet there's something interesting in that 911 call.

It's possible that the older children would, at some point, finish their "vacation" and be reunited with their clothes, toys (is that the evidence LE referenced, of children living in the home?). If Tommy is missing, and LE is given Sally's toothbrush, hairbrush, t-shirt, LE isn't going to know right off that that's not Tommy's DNA, not Tommy's scent. So, whichever child's scent was on whatever was handed to LE, dogs didn't track it outside.... were ANY children ever in that backyard? Were ANY children ever in that house?

I hope LE is looking closely at three months ago.

A neighbor said they thought they saw some boys there, but the older children are quite close in age or at least height, and it's possible the neighbor saw the other boys.
The age range looks pretty close and it would've been easy to mistake the older kids for the younger ones depending on how tall Orrin and Orson actually were at the time of the disappearance.
The photos released look like they were taken at least a year ago or more.
The youngest appears to be a little over a year old in his photo.
Imo.

I hesitate to be a total downer in this thread. I’ll throw this out there anyway. There must a reason the backyard was dug up so quickly. I believe these little ones will eventually be found buried somewhere. I can’t remember when I’ve ever felt so negatively this early in a child disappearance. I hope I’m not losing my faith in miracles. Please somebody, talk me out of this gloomy thought.

There are kids that live around me that I see maybe twice a year and im an avid gardener so I don’t find it too striking. Especially with the two empty lots on either side and a fence.
also, not too hard to keep things containing their dna or scent, they likely kept some things of theirs as to not arouse suspicion and throw off the timeline.
Kids are messy and sticky so maybe taking dna from bathroom or bedroom walls etc?
diapers in the garbage? I bet it’s hard to potty train quickly when you have 6 total! Bio mom did post on fb what she either saw or heard was in their trash. Moo

In other cases like this, there have been sudden moves to a different house, later tied to the child's death. I'm going to guess the moves are to get away from people in their former community who would notice and ask where the boys were.

IMO, these boys never left Bakersfield. And dogs picked up the boy's scent, inside the new house, because of items brought from the old house.

I can’t remember what the verdict was about the use of AV news crew being allowed. Does anyone remember?

Bio mom would need resources to pull this off, resources I doubt she has. I'm surprised after LE's actions we are even entertaining anything but the obvious. But then again, stranger things have happened .....

Heidi Broussard. I’ve never been as shocked at the outcome of a case as I was with hers. We all entertained the obvious and were WAY wrong.

I think many of us feel your gloom.

It only takes one other case for us to feel like we've been here before.

I hope they're safe somewhere but it doesn't good.

Hoping for a student outcome than this one:

No apologies needed! :) I reread my post and I completely understand. It was poorly worded on my part :oops:o_O

Sorry G'Ma, no can do. I am ever the optimist, and really believed the adoptive parents at first, but I can't ignore all the LE motions that telegraph a tragic outcome. Of course, as long as no remains have been discovered, we hang on to that hope for a miracle.
