This case is a couple of years old and I couldn't find much info other than listings on missing persons websites, but the circumstances are very disturbing.

Poppy was last seen by her aunt during a location transfer from one domestic violence shelter to another in the San Jose area. Poppy had a pay-by-the-minute cell phone while in the shelter; however, upon checking herself out, she never informed the family where she was going or renewed her minutes. No one in the family has seen or heard from Poppy since January 1, 2013.

Wow. Her ex is a real piece of work. I wonder if she lived down in the Jungle or one of the other homeless encampments in San Jose after she left, if she wanted more freedom than the shelter could provide? I hope it's not foul play. I know they cleaned up the Jungle and kicked a lot of people out last summer, I wonder why she didn't turn up then to her family. I wonder what her relationship with her family was like.

I found a comment saying she was doing well after leaving him but had a stroke and passed away July 1, 2019 in Oklahoma. I cant find any obituary to back it up though
