I was looking at Alcala photos and this girl seems to possibly match this Doe.

RCJD would not be an Alcala victim, as Alcala was already in jail in June of 1979.

ETA: Scratch that. I was mistaken. He was arrested in July 1979.

What do you think, Carl? You have an excellent eye for faces!

I live in Rancho Cucamonga so this Jane Doe was extremely fascinating to me since I've seen these streets before since I've here for 3/4ths of my life never knowing someone was discovered here but I have a guess that RCJD may or may not be Wendy Susan Byron.

They were both of different heights and weights but RCJD and they both had different eye colors but something about this still doesn't feel right. Byron's was last seen in Glendora with is another neighboring town of Rancho Cucamonga and she was last seen on August 26, 1978. She left her car abandoned at the Ontario Airport which is our closest airport (I live like 20 minutes away) and it's not too far from where RCJD was found despite the month gap. The fact that they were so close together seemed a little too good to be true. Byron also had a fight with her husband who at first claimed that Byron moved to Ohio under a new name to her sister Wendy and was never found again. Another thing is the teeth. RCJD obviously didn't have perfect teeth and from this picture neither did Byron, however her dental records aren't available. Byron wasn't included from RCJD's namus exclusion list, and despite a few differences on their height, weight, and eye color it was still really fun reading and trying to figure it out. If it weren't for this case I wouldn't have made an account, but hopefully someone figures out the identity of ms RCJD soon.

She looks like Buckskin to me. I'm fairly certain she's been checked against her but when I see her face, I picture her with pigtails and I see BD.

I definitely see similarities with the Nose, Teeth and Mouth. I would submit it, nice work!

The differing eye colors means it's probably not a match unless someone made an error, and the nose looks a bit different. Plus, her DNA is in NamUs and so is Jane Doe's, so they'd have matched automatically if it was a fit.

Could she be Delores Stanton? Missing from Gainesville, FL, April 1976. I think they resemble each other. Height and weight is right. Age is in range. If she cut her hair I could see it. None of her DNA, dentals or fingerprints are available on NamUs. I posted her on Buckskin Girl's thread minutes ago, but I'm having second thoughts. What do you think?

Looks like Delores's fingerprints and DNA are now in NamUs, as are the JD's, so she would have automatically matched if it was a fit.

Unless I'm misreading something, Laureen Rahn and Carla Corley went missing in 1980. The UID was found in June 1979.

Names mentioned here since 2010 that aren't on the ruleouts list: Sarah Tokier (Snuf, did you ever hear anything back on her?), Deborah McCall, Eddy Segal, Pamela Rousseau (wouldn't be listed due to being Canadian), Christina White, and Mary Wesolowski.

All these ladies mentioned in the thread have DNA in NamUs and so does JD, so they would have automatically matched if it was a fit:

Oh, that's good news. They didn't have DNA two years ago when I made that list.

The only MP I can find who possibly fits the description and who doesn't have fingerprints / DNA in NamUs (like JD does) is Wilma Vermaas: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/5489/
5'3" - 5'5", 105 - 115 lbs
Brown hair, brown eyes
Missing from Los Angeles (41 miles away) since 4/3/76

Likely not her due to time frame, and as per NAMUS, DNA was submitted...But oh well we could at least get her name on the ruleout list.

Patricia Chesher https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/8865/6

RanchoCucamonga.Patricia.Chesher.PNG

-disappeared 10 yrs before RCJD discovered -- age 12 at time of disappearance
-front teeth may have similarities to RCJD

Could she be Pem Michelle Yates Briggs, the woman Carl posted a photo of in the WCJD thread?

Wilma's upper front teeth were false, though, so I don't think she's our JD.

This is just one of those cases that haunts me...I hope she gets her name back soon.
