Judge Taylor's last sentence of his Order says it all -- enough with the smoke and mirrors:

It will be most helpful to the court if these questions are answered in a straightforward manner, leaving argument to other portions of the briefing.

2021 Year in Review Rebecca Zahau Death Investigation -

The sheriff is delaying the case and pushed our court date from January to May. He is doing the same thing as he did with the review. Gore will attempt to push our court date past the election. When he claimed to conduct a case review, he said in May that it would take several months putting the end of the review past the election. The only reason gore did the case review was under campaign pressure. In December of 2018, 7 months later well past his re-election, he said they did a great investigation and did not change anything. Gore is not doing anything different he is slowing walking this case hoping everyone forgets about Rebecca and how gore mess up this investigation. We will never forget and will continue to fight for Rebecca who was silenced on July 13th 2011.

they can only hide for so long, the truth is inevitable and the swaying of the facts of this case in order to hush it up and make it go away will not hold. Charges must be brought and the truth of Rebecca's last hours must be exposed. mOO

Totally agree- this injustice cannot be allowed to stand!!!

This is so disheartening, after the good news from the hearing. Is there anything that can be done? It boggles my mind that Rebecca's case isn't brought up in every election interview / article / observation. Instead, this injustice remains under the rug where it was swept all those years ago.

There is an election coming up. Rebecca's murder should be front and center of their campaign, Dave Myers is running for sheriff, who has supported us for years now. He said when elected sheriff he will open Rebecca's case. Like I said before Gore will do everything, he can, to push our lawsuit back, so the trial will be after the election. Gore is using his same play book.
