What about Patricia Lorraine Gentle?

The race, age, and estimated year of death are a match. In fact, according to someone identifying herself as Patricia's oldest daughter in another thread: "January 1st [1973] is [the date given as gone missing] because I don’t know the date," so Patricia could've gone missing closer to January 1974, when UP7144 was found.

UP7144 was found in Desert Hot Springs, which is 2.5 hours away from Redondo Beach, where Patricia went missing.

But most of all, both women are said to have had brown hair. A reddish blond wig was found near UP7144, though it's unknown if this is connected to her. However, Patricia's hair appears to be blonde in her Namus picture. Did she dye it or is this a wig?

From @DS2021 ’s newspaper link above:

“The dead woman was found some 200 yards south of a similar grave site where sheriff's deputies found the body of a person about two-years ago identified as Mary Castro. That a homicide case has never been solved, deputies said.”

Mary’s case was solved in 2012:

Mountain View Jane Doe was found 51 years ago today. Hopefully we’ll know her real name soon.
