The Kern County Sheriff's Office has issued a press release asking for help locating Roberto Vargas, who has now been missing for more than two years. The original appeal was issued in October 2022. As is typical for Kern County Sheriff's Office and Bakersfield Police Dept, his case has not been submitted to Namus or to the California Attorney General's Missing Person Archive. It is also typical for Kern County Sheriff's Office to not say where within the county a missing person was last seen.
