From January 2016:

http://www.triplicate.com/News/Local-News/Still-no-answers-on-Glaze-killing

Almost two years after he was killed and his body left near the Klamath River, Romeo Glaze’s family is still hoping for justice.

Glaze, 26, was reported missing March 26, 2014 by his sisters Cindy Kahao and Kristina Swain, who were living in Hawaii at the time. Three weeks later his body was found off a steep bank by the Klamath River near state Highway 169 between Klamath and Klamath Glen, apparently brought there by his killers after they shot him in the head...

Although many people came forward claiming to know the identity of Glaze’s killer and the circumstances of his death, Wilson said their testimony was largely second or third-hand and could not premise a successful prosecution:

Loftin prelim date set

Although it was reported in June that he had confessed to killing Romeo Glaze in 2014, Michael Loftin made a brief appearance in Del Norte Superior Court Aug. 7 to enter a plea of not guilty.

Loftin’s preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 11.

Loftin was arrested in June on a no-bail warrant, accused of first-degree murder.

Zocchi later said Loftin had made a recorded confession following his arrest.

“Subsequent investigation revealed that Loftin admitted to multiple people, including at least, one family member, to killing Romeo Glaze,” Zocchi’s declarations stated at the time. “Additional investigation resulted in a percipient witness (eyewitness) to the homicide giving a recorded statement that Loftin killed Glaze.”
