Found in 2000 with a PMI of 2 years. So many missing women in CA that could be a match.

Her NamUs page is down at the moment.

Gail Lenoar Cookson's profile was removed today. She went missing in 1984, a lot longer than this lady's PMI. The location and timing caught my eye, so I thought I'd mention it.

I think I found confirmation that Gail Cookson was indeed identified as UP2369. I found a recording of the Sacramento Board of Supervisors meeting which took place on February 25, 2025 where it states that Gail was found deceased in 2000 and her case was closed using DNA in February 2025 by Coroner Rosa Vega.

4:44 PM Board Action: County Executive David Villanueva spoke on the Department of Human Assistance improving their application processing time, resulting in a reduction of backlogged applications and Coroner Rosa Vega closing a cold case through DNA matching.

There's a video of the meeting, her case is briefly discussed starting at about 4:32:55.
