Circumstances of Recovery On the evening of 06/05/2023 an individual who rented at a residence in Alpine was working in the large open area near that residence when he discovered what appeared to be a human skull. He left the area and conferred with another person, and on 06/06/2023 the same individual returned to the area and believed it to be real and called 911. San Diego Sheriff's Deputies responded and confirmed the death due to obvious postmortem changes.
