Circumstances of Recovery
Found at the bottom of a steep canyon ridge to the North of El Camino Memorial Park in Sorrento Valley, the remains were spotted by a mortuary employee who was taking a walk in the canyon on his lunch break.

How sad. How is this poor person going to be identified? It's been 20+ years already, and they don't even know male or female. :(

NamUs says the estimated age range is late teen/young adult.

I thought that would be the case. How sad - maybe they didn't get any good identifiers?

I think DEP is unlikely for this UID. He left in 1992 in a car that was never recovered. The other two men possibly. They disappeared closer to 2000.

Bumping case up. I wonder if these remains are still available for DNA extraction...
