Joseph said the suspect, identified as 48-year-old Mateusz Dzierbun of Fremont, called 911 around 3:23 p.m. from Cataldi Park and reported that his son was being stabbed by an unknown assailant, which was a half-truth. When officers arrived, they discovered that the caller himself was the one who had committed the crime.

ty in looking at his page, he refers to his son as James. there are many photos of his son from prior to COVID shutdown. One commenter under a series of photos of James at 3.6 years old mentions his wife and how the couple used to go on hikes.

What a cutie James was. Just a very sad case all around. What caused this man to slide over the edge?
