SAN JOSE One of the vilest child-pornography cases Santa Clara County Sheriffs investigators have ever seen was uncovered by an online investigation that led to the arrest Monday of a 61-year-old San Jose man, authorities said.
Dennis Valle Cruz was arrested on suspicion of having a cache of thousands of child-porn images and videos after the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Office, San Jose Police Department and FBI served a search warrant at his Oakwood Avenue home.
A covert online investigation by the Sheriffs Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement task force and SJPDs Internet Crimes Against Children task force identified and implicated Cruz on possessing and distributing more than of 10,000 pornographic images and videos showing young children.
