Miguel Moscoso – The Charley Project
Miguel Moscoso? Fits the description. Known to be a heavy drinker and was intoxicated when he went missing. Scar betwen eyes could have been new as he went missing in the beginning of 88.

180 pounds when he went missing. Could of dropped alot of weight between when he went missing and when he was found.
Sounds like his body gave up on him due to the lifestyle he lived.

Sorry for double posting, but I was in a hurry yesterday and afraid I would forget about the possible match.

In my opinion, both Miguel Moscoso and Alfonso Torres are good possibilities. They were last seen in 1988, same year the UID was found and disappeared near Santa Ana with plausible backstories.

Alfonso Torres had a prior history of disappearing and was found in LA according to his Charley Project Page. He resembles the sketch quite closely, but he had a tattoo of his nickname and there is no mentioning of a tattoo in the UID's case file.

Edit: I submitted Alfonso Torres through the Doe Network Match Panel, because his physical stats are so close to the UID, especially his face shape, moustache, height and weight and the distance is only 6 miles.

I already received a reply. Wow, that was very fast. Alfonso Torres has previously been ruled out by dentals.

Maybe submit moscoso as well. Torres was a good match though, I thought the same, his characteristics were very similar to the sketch.

As Torres was mentally disabled and escaped from a care facility, I didn't think it was him due to the fact it didn't sound like he was living a alcoholic lifestyle. The does body probably gave up on him after years of abuse.

I can submit Moscoso, if you want me to, but I can only do it through Doe Network, because I do not have a NamUs account.

Yeah, Torres really looked like the sketch.
