The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating an At-Risk Missing Person. The missing person is identified as:

Bishop has been missing from the 5500 block of Dustin St. since June 7, 2015. She is considered at-risk because she is missing under unusual circumstances.

Joe Ray McBath, 48, was found shot to death in a home on the street. Police have not found his killer.

Josette Jung, a neighbor in the area, tells Eyewitness News the home was frequented by transients and she never knew or saw the owner...

"Sasha Bishop, a 37-year-old female, the last location that she was known to be was also at this residence and we haven't been able to locate her." Police do not believe Bishop is necessarily linked to McBath's murder, but investigators would like to talk to her.

Details of Disappearance
Bishop was last seen at a residence in the 5500 block of Dustin Street in Bakersfield, California on May 9, 2015. She has never been heard from again. Authorities stated she disappeared under unusual circumstances and is considered to be at risk.

The home where she was last seen is frequented by transients. 48-year-old Joe Ray McBath was shot to death there on June 7, less than a month after Bishop's disappearance. His murder has never been solved and it's unclear whether it is related to Bishop's case. Her disappearance remains unsolved.
