I have had little kids for a long time (we have 5 they’re 3-17) and I know an absolute ton of people with “Irish twins” (two babies born within 12mo) it’s total fluke or genetic propensity that these were “Irish quadruplets.” My midwife has said over and over that women are the most fertile in the weeks after giving birth and a portion of her clients show up for their 4 or 6 week postpartum checkups already pregnant again. Women are told to wait for sex at least 6 weeks but it rarely happens if it’s a non-traumatic (no episiotomy, tearing, etc.) vaginal birth, especially after it’s the second or third... or fifth and sixth child.

That’s interesting. I’ve never given birth but always assumed there would be pain and soreness even if the birth was not traumatic. Thanks for this info.

After my 3rd child was born my nurse offered me pain meds and I asked her "what for?" She said rather incredulously "You just had a baby!" Uh, ya I was there. I declined, and just went with regular motrin. He had slight complications that had us stuck in the hospital for about 3 days/night, but I was ready to go immediately - and didn't stay longer than 24 hours with my first 2 either. My first child had the same complication as well, just different hospitals so different standards. Never felt like I had a baby with the first or last. Mild discomfort with the second.

That said, I had fertility issues so there's more of a gap in mine.

I'm getting more confused with every article I am reading about this. .
Now there are a total of 6 kids?

"Stockton police have released photos of the car the 20-month-old missing twins, their four siblings and parents are suspected to have lived in."

On Sunday, police released information on some of the more dangerous items detectives and evidence technicians found inside the packed Suzuki: knives, a machete, an ax, suspected mold and narcotics. Photos accompanying the police statement show a stuffed vehicle with hardly any room for people to sit.

Weddles, whose total bail is $805,000, and Walker, with bail set at $760,000, are due back in Superior Court in Stockton for a hearing at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

If anyone has information about the location of the missing twins, Stockton Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward up to $10,000 for any information that leads to their location.

If the one-year old twins had not disappeared, nobody would have ever known about the horrible and dangerous conditions the other 4 children were living in. They have probably even seen their parents taking drugs :( or worse, becoming violent towards each other and others. A machete, an ax in a car? what is this?!?

I don't understand how this can happen in a 1st world country and there are cases like this in the news these days in many Western countries.
This is getting out of control.

The condition of the car illustrates my thought that the second set of twins may not have a conventional paper trail.

I don't know. I am certainly puzzled and hope things are better than they appear.
It must take LE incredible self control while talking to these "parents".

Any news?
Weird how this is just fading away.

I think that since now the two adults are separated, the mom will soften and make a plea deal. We just need to be patient.

Here’s a sobering article from today: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/deplor...wins-lived-in-car-with-knives-drugs-cops-say/

Police investigating the disappearance of infant twins in California say their parents forced them to live in "deplorable and dangerous" conditions in a car with weapons and drugs.

More at link. ☹️

In this article, it mentions

  • one 4 year old girl
  • two twin 2 year old girls
  • two missing toddler twins (boy and girl)
That's 5 children. Where is the child found in a residence near the car?

Walker’s children with Canez-Walker are reportedly in custody of Child Protective Services. He told the news station that when his ex-wife had custody of the children, he would go for long periods without knowing where they were.

From January 16:

As the two were placed next to each other during their court hearing on Tuesday, they shared a smile.

"To me, that was disgusting, you know, due to the situation,” said Richard Walker, Princess' ex-husband.

Canez-Walker's ex-husband and former stepdaughter were also in court. She appeared to glare in their direction.

"Looked like she was kinda mad and shocked at the same time,” Patreona Walker said.
...
“I really think that there’s been some foul play,” Richard Walker said.

Richard Walker says his ex-wife stopped contact with him five years ago. At one point he had no idea where his own children were.

“Miserable for me and stressful,” he said.

Those kids are now in CPS custody.

They're both due back in court next Tuesday for further arraignment for old warrants.

Do they think this is some sort of game they're playing with LE? I predict they will be mighty surprised when they lose.

There are a total of 8 children. Two of those eight are missing.
The parents were taken into custody Jan. 9 after being found in a white 2002 Suzuki XL7 in north Stockton. Three children were also found with the couple in the SUV. A fourth child was located a day later in a Stockton home. According to police, two other children were located in the foster care system. Those six children are now in the care of Child Protective Services, police said.
