California sex offender arrested again for kidnapping, sexually assaulting Stanislaus County teen

Officials said 36-year-old Edgar Perez Medina, of Livingston, is suspected of creating a fake social media profile, identifying himself as an 18-year-old man.

Medina is charged with kidnapping with intent to commit robbery, rape, oral copulation or sodomy, communicating with a minor with intent to commit sex acts, arranging a meeting with a minor to commit sex acts and possession of CSAM.

it is not his first rodeo. He pulled this same stunt and raped a child in 2017. That previous incident is what landed him on the registry for life.

He was arraigned on Friday and ordered held on a $4.8 million bail.

These predators do not rehabilitate. He will continue to be a threat to minors whether he his on a registry or not. Toss the key. IMO
